Zipper skirt size chart

  • THE MOST IS TRY ON ON A MARKET, FAIR OR OPEN ATELIER !!!! Often more skirts need to be fitted before we have the right size. Then we will continue to send back and forth. So please visit a market &c, then you'll know your size and you can decide when you want to order.
  • Applies to both lengths (45 and 55 cm).
  • Measured in the waist and hip, as shown in picture. Measure wearing the clothes you would when you wear skirts (shirt, tights / leggings). Not too tight, but certainly do not measure too loose.
  • Skirt then supposed to be tight; thick fabric so doesn't 'sign'.
  • Without the front the base skirt doesn't fit. Measurements include the front.
  • All the fronts are the same size, apart from small differences caused by sewing, handwork involved.
  • Note: the skirt doesn't strech!!! When in doubt: take the larger size.

  • Skirt is a waist model, so don't wear it high. Otherwise it will be far too wide on the bottom.
  • When in doubt, use only hip measurement.
  • Contact me when measuring large differens in waist and hip measurement, you can have a tailored skirt.

  • It's a flared skirt (A-line).
  • If you have buttocks and hips, this is you model. Without hips it is worth trying out, also if you have a larger belly.
  • The skirt mostly loooks great on larger woman.
  • If you have a large bellt and slim legs, don't try. It won't look goed. You'll need another model, which I don't have.
  • So if you're an apple, don't think of it. If you're a pear, this is your skirt!
